Aim & Scope
Proteostasis Network is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Tomorrow's Research Publications (TRP). It covers how cells fold, maintain and dispose of their proteins, and what happens when that quality-control system fails.
We publish original research and reviews on the molecular machinery that keeps the proteome working, and on its breakdown in ageing and neurodegenerative disease.
Scope
We welcome original research articles, reviews, short communications and case-based studies in areas including:
- Protein folding, misfolding and chaperones
- The unfolded protein response and ER stress
- Autophagy and the ubiquitin-proteasome system
- Protein aggregation in Alzheimer's, Parkinson's and ALS
- Proteostasis decline in ageing and senescence
- The heat shock response
- Small-molecule and genetic modulators of proteostasis
- Structural and computational methods for protein quality control
