Aim & Scope

Chromatin is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by Tomorrow's Research Publications (TRP). It is devoted to how DNA is packaged inside the nucleus and how that packaging controls which genes are read.

We publish mechanistic studies, new methods and reviews, and we are particularly interested in work that links chromatin changes to development, ageing and disease.

Scope

We welcome original research articles, reviews, short communications and case-based studies in areas including:

  • Chromatin structure and dynamics
  • Epigenetic regulation of gene expression
  • DNA methylation and histone modifications
  • Three-dimensional genome organisation and nuclear architecture
  • Chromatin remodelling complexes
  • Non-coding RNA in chromatin regulation
  • Epigenetics of development, ageing and disease
  • Methods for mapping chromatin states
