Abstract

Cloud computing is revolutionizing healthcare by offering scalable data storage and robust processing for massive amounts of medical data, according to Elhoseny et al. (2017). Healthcare professionals can now access patient records in real time thanks to this technology, that also promotes provider collaboration. In addition to lowering costs, important technologies like machine learning and data analytics improve disease prediction, diagnosis, and individualized therapy. The study identifies advantages like remote monitoring and instant access to health data, but it also highlights drawbacks, especially with regard to latency, privacy, and data security. To improve the security and dependability of cloud-based systems for broader healthcare applications, the authors contend that further effort is required. According to Hong et al. (2018), big data is revolutionizing healthcare through bettering public
health monitoring, streamlining operations, customizing therapy, and improving disease prediction. Big data tools facilitate improved patient care and more accurate decision-making by evaluating vast amounts of patient data. Still, the authors highlight difficulties include protecting data privacy, guarding against breaches, combining various data sources, and handling demanding computing requirements. The full potential of big data in healthcare is now constrained by these problems. The analysis highlights the need for greater research to develop safe, effective solutions that can get past these challenges and enable healthcare institutions to make better use of big data.
