An inventive method for enhancing data routing in healthcare IoT systems by utilizing Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) is presented in this paper by Priyanka and Kaur (2018). In order to minimize latency and guarantee consistent connection, the ACO algorithm optimizes data transmission pathways between medical IoT devices and healthcare servers, drawing inspiration from the ants' natural path-finding behavior. This effective routing improves emergency response and real-time monitoring, both of which are critical for providing healthcare treatments on time. Through data path optimization, ACO helps IoT devices use bandwidth more efficiently, save energy, and lessen network congestion. By enabling quick and dependable data interchange, the resultant system greatly improves the quality of healthcare delivery. This is especially useful for ongoing patient monitoring and emergency medical operations.
