Publish with TRP

Publishing your research shouldn't cost you anything, and it shouldn't take forever to find out whether your work has been read properly. That's the whole premise behind Tomorrow's Research Publications.

No fees. Ever. We don't charge an Article Processing Charge, a submission fee, or any hidden cost at any stage. Every TRP journal is diamond open access — free for you to publish in, free for anyone in the world to read. Your research doesn't need a grant to fund its own publication, and it doesn't need to sit behind a paywall to reach the people who'd actually use it.

Real peer review, not a rubber stamp. Every submission goes through double-blind peer review by independent reviewers with genuine subject expertise. We're not interested in publishing volume for its own sake — we're interested in publishing work that holds up, and giving you honest, useful feedback either way.

You keep your work. You retain copyright of everything you publish with us. We ask only for a license to publish it under Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY 4.0), which means you're free to reuse, share, and build on your own work anywhere, anytime, with no embargo and no permission needed from us.

A journal that actually fits your work. Instead of one broad, catch-all journal, TRP runs a portfolio of focused titles, each with a clearly defined scope and an editorial team working in that specific area. That means your paper is more likely to land with reviewers and readers who actually understand the field it's written for.

Built to last. Every published article gets a permanent DOI and is archived through CLOCKSS, LOCKSS, and the PKP Preservation Network — so your work stays citable and accessible long after the moment it's published.

How to start:

  1. Find the TRP journal that matches your research — browse our full list of journals and their aims and scope
  2. Prepare your manuscript following the journal's author guidelines (IEEE format, full ethics and data statements)
  3. Submit online through the journal's OJS portal
  4. Track your submission's progress and respond to reviewer feedback, all in one place

If you're not sure which journal is the right fit for your paper, reach out to us directly — we'd rather point you to the right place than have your work land somewhere it doesn't belong.
