Aims and Scope — Senescence
Published by Tomorrow's Research Publications (TRP)
Aims. Senescence focuses on cellular senescence and cellular-level aging biology — why cells stop dividing, what they do once they stop, and how that process drives, or sometimes protects against, age-related disease.
Scope. The journal covers:
- Mechanisms of cellular senescence induction (replicative, oncogene-induced, stress-induced)
- The senescence-associated secretory phenotype (SASP) and its downstream effects
- Senolytics and senomorphics — therapeutics targeting senescent cells
- Senescence in cancer biology (tumor suppression vs. tumor-promoting roles)
- Senescence and tissue-level aging, fibrosis, and chronic disease
- Immune clearance of senescent cells
- Biomarkers for detecting and quantifying senescent cells
- Senescence in the context of longevity interventions and healthspan research
Article types. Original research, translational/therapeutic studies, and critical reviews.
Audience. Cell biologists, aging researchers, oncologists, and translational medicine researchers.
