Aims and Scope — Proteostasis Network
Published by Tomorrow's Research Publications (TRP)
Aims. Proteostasis Network covers how cells fold, maintain, and dispose of proteins, and what happens when that quality-control system breaks down — a mechanism increasingly central to understanding development, disease, and aging.
Scope. The journal covers:
- Protein folding, misfolding, and chaperone-mediated quality control
- The unfolded protein response (UPR) and endoplasmic reticulum stress
- Autophagy and the ubiquitin-proteasome system
- Protein aggregation in neurodegenerative disease (Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, ALS)
- Proteostasis decline in aging and cellular senescence
- Heat shock response and stress-induced proteostasis mechanisms
- Small molecule and genetic modulators of proteostasis pathways
- Computational and structural methods for studying protein quality control
Article types. Original research, translational/therapeutic studies, and critical reviews.
Audience. Cell biologists, structural biologists, neurodegeneration researchers, and aging biologists.
