Aims and Scope — Frontiers in Entropy

Published by Tomorrow's Research Publications (TRP)

Aims. Frontiers in Entropy treats entropy as a unifying concept across physics, information theory, and complex systems — publishing work that applies entropy-based thinking across disciplines rather than confining it to one subfield.

Scope. The journal covers:

  • Thermodynamic entropy and non-equilibrium statistical mechanics
  • Information theory and Shannon entropy
  • Entropy in complex and chaotic systems
  • Entropy-based measures in machine learning and data compression
  • Entropy in biological systems (e.g., molecular disorder, evolutionary dynamics)
  • Quantum entropy and quantum information theory
  • Entropy production in far-from-equilibrium systems
  • Applications of entropy in network science and econophysics

Article types. Original research, theoretical/mathematical papers, and critical reviews.

Audience. Physicists, information theorists, complex systems researchers, and machine learning theorists.
