Aims. Cognita is built around the idea that the most useful cognitive science right now happens at the boundary between disciplines — where psychology, neuroscience, and computer science increasingly describe the same underlying problems from different angles. We aim to make that cross-talk happen in print, not just at conferences.
Scope. The journal covers:
- Cognitive psychology (memory, attention, perception, decision-making, language)
- Cognitive and computational neuroscience
- Developmental cognition and learning
- Comparative cognition (animal cognition studies)
- Human-AI comparative cognition and benchmarking
- Computational models of cognitive processes
- Cognitive biases and judgment under uncertainty
- Consciousness studies and metacognition
- Applied cognition (education, human factors, clinical cognitive assessment)
Article types. Original research, critical reviews, and computational/theoretical modeling papers.
